The new 10-foot-wide, 4.3-mile oceanfront Kapaa bike/walk path; when the entire path is completed it will cover 16 continuous miles from Nawiliwili to Anahola. Located 1.5 miles from the heart of old town Kapaa with its huge selection of restaurants, markets and shops.
Directions (15 minutes from the Lihue Airport): Starting from the airport, begin on Highway 56 (Kuhio Highway) heading North towards Kapaa, for 8 miles. Turn left on Hauaala Road (your second left turn just past the Kauai Fair). Drive 1.5 miles and turn left at 5311 Hauaala Road, look for the large black buoy.
